ATTEMPT Exclusive Salomon XT-WHISPER Extension / Restraint

This project stems from 「Road to the Future」, a special initiative led by Salomon and HYPEBEAST .
ATTEMPT approaches the XT-WHISPER silhouette through an experimental lens, introducing a dual concept in tension: freedom and restraint.

In this interpretation of XT-WHISPER, we aim to express a dynamic interplay between the two.
Attached elements become mediums of extension—opening up new spatial possibilities—while the secondary strapping system represents restraint, setting boundaries that in turn activate their own expansion.

It is a dialogue between control and release.

Notably, the coloration of the shoe is achieved through a composite process of hand-dyeing and spraying by the ATTEMPT team.
As a result, each pair features irregular, non-uniform, and subtly layered color variations across the surface.
Every shoe is individually treated by hand, leaving behind unique textures and traces.
